Also went furniture shopping today with a friend which was loads of fun and boy – how expensive is furniture!! Eight thousand for a table… I”m thinking I might strip my old one back. Thankfully I didn”t go shopping Friday night after handing in my latest ms to my editor. I was on such a high I probably would have ordered two. As it was I flirted shamelessly with the Harvey Norman”s shop assistant who sold me an “Animal” – no, not something to take to bed! – but an upright vaccuum cleaner for those spot cleaning days. I only spent $300 more on that than I thought I would… So, no more shopping after finishing a novel for moi!
